Although I am using the above-mentioned original old stone house for my first Replica Scale Model House, there are numerous other suitable old houses and buildings scattered throughout the Yorke Peninsula which are also suitable for modeling purposes. Some are simply ghostly ruins, while others have a second life as implement or hay sheds, whilst others are still habitable and have been looked after over the years by the descendents of the original families who built the first house.
** I am setting these Replica Scale Model Houses to 1:24 and 1:32 Scale for those into Garden Railways, plus 1:48 and 1:60 for other modelers. Also, each and every one of these Replica Scales Models that I construct are all individually made, and therefore are collector's items as well as no two are ever exactly identical. I am also attempting to get the paintwork as accurate as practical, by using modern 'Heritage Colours' which are linked to the popular colors of each house / building construction era.
These pages of Editorial information are included with the sale of every Replica Scale Model House/ Building I make (and cannot be sold/ given away separately without my written permission). Also a personally signed and dated card is included with every Replica Scale Model House and/ or Building purchased from myself.
